Describe the physical environment in which you would like to learn. Meaning describe what the room looks like. 10 bonus points for a good descriptive comment.
A room I think would be a good learning environment would for the room to be painted calming colors, such as blue. I also think the desks or tables should be arranged in groups of 3 or 4, like we have now. Computers should be readily available for anyone to use.
Classrooms should be open and airy with big windows. Bright clear WHITE lights can be used so students are more likely to stay awake and everything seems cleaner and fresher. It would be nice to not only have desks in groups/tables, but also a chill place for SSR or something with beanbags chairs, giant pillows or maybe even a couch. Bring back the class pet! Heck, a goldfish would be calming, make students feel more at home and more ready to learn. For less of the interior and more of how my ideal classroom would function would be a class with open minded teachers and students. Open mindedness would allow for a better atmosphere for the whole learning experience. We aren't walking five miles to the one room school house anymore. We have so much technology and so many new views on the world, why can't we try to begin to except them in facilities where all minds are shaped?
I think all classrooms should be carpeted first off. I think it makes a room feel more at home. The walls shouldn't be just white; they should be orange, or purple, or blue. Something exciting, not boring and dull that makes me want to fall asleep. Desks should be in a circle like in elementary, or in some random order. Not just rows all the time. Also, I think if it's spring or summer, teachers should try to go outside and teach their lesson if possible. It's a lot more calming.
A good learning environment i think would be somewhere outside with comfortable chairs. It would be nice to just sit outside on a nice sunny day and have class. It would be a lot better than sitting in a room learning. People would rather choose to sit outside than inside.
i would like an outdoor type of learning environment. It should have some nice climbing trees and shade trees a willow tree. it should have a pond with fish jumping and a nice big sunny are. the seats should be like a rock or stump. As lon as is out side whear the fresh air is and the sunshine it would be a great learning environment
A good learning environment, in my opinion, would a large room with comfy bean bag chairs and mini radios. That way kids could listen to music and make themselves comfortable in the bean bag chairs. I like bean bag chairs because they are comfortable and cute. Also the room should be bright and cheery and not look anything like a cell or prison.

ReplyDeleteA room that has computer touch screens for walls and for the desks' tops. it would have a theatre lay out and a side room that was a green room.
